About the role

Ochsner Health seeks a board‑certified rheumatologist to join its clinical and research team at Ochsner Medical Center. The physician will provide inpatient and outpatient rheumatology care while leading a robust investigator‑driven research program.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality clinical rheumatology services, including inpatient consultations and outpatient visits.
• Supervise rheumatology fellows and mentor junior physicians.
• Design, conduct, and manage clinical research studies, including grant writing and manuscript preparation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across nephrology, pulmonary, cardiology, and dermatology.

Required profile

• Board certification in rheumatology and active clinical practice experience.
• Strong interest in academic medicine and clinical investigation.
• Proven ability to supervise trainees and work in a team environment.
