About the role
Serval is building an AI‑native automation platform and is hiring its first dedicated Revenue Strategy & Operations leader. You will partner with sales leadership to set strategic direction, drive execution, and make the sales organization measurably more productive.
Key responsibilities
- Set strategic direction and drive execution across sales initiatives.
- Identify high‑leverage growth levers (segment focus, coverage model, new motions) and build business cases.
- Drive forecasting excellence at rep, segment, and company levels.
- Implement a scalable operating cadence (pipeline generation, reviews, methodology adoption, business reviews).
- Scope and lead strategic initiatives from thesis through rollout and measurement.
- Find and eliminate friction in the selling motion, including process, tooling, handoffs, and approvals.
- Codify sales methodology, qualification standards, and stage definitions for repeatable hiring.
- Improve GTM systems and data architecture (Salesforce and surrounding stack) for trustworthy reporting.
- Drive AI adoption wherever possible and act as Serval’s internal best customer.
- Build analytics that explain performance (funnel conversion, velocity, win/loss, ramp, capacity, segment productivity).
- Partner with Finance and Central RevOps on capacity planning, quota, territory design, and headcount modeling.
- Build tools that help reps understand and run their own business.
Required profile
- 6‑8+ years in Sales Strategy & Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Operations at a high‑growth B2B software company; consulting, banking, PE, or corporate strategy backgrounds a plus.
- Proven ability to drive open‑ended initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Strong analytical horsepower with Excel/Sheets mastery; SQL and BI tooling preferred.
- Comfort working with senior sales leadership, reps, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and GTM tech stack (Gong, Outreach, Amplemarket, Clay) a plus.
- Excellent judgment on which initiatives move the business forward.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias to build new playbooks.
- Bonus: experience scaling a company to nine‑figure ARR, enterprise displacement sales motions, AI‑driven productivity.
