Retail Associate – Guest Services & Sales

About the role

The Retail Associate provides exceptional guest service while helping guests select products that best meet their needs. This role drives retail sales through active engagement, suggestive selling, product knowledge, and a welcoming, professional approach.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome, greet, and engage guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist guests in identifying and selecting products based on their needs and preferences.
• Maintain current knowledge of merchandise, resort products, promotions, pricing, and relevant services.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance, information, and solutions.
• Respond to questions, resolve complaints promptly and accurately, and ensure a positive guest experience.
• Operate resort sales and processing platforms (including RTP) and troubleshoot basic system issues.
• Maintain the Retail Shop according to the Department Operating Plan, including merchandising, stocking, and inventory organization.
• Perform snow removal and other duties as required.

Required profile

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with standard office technology such as email, web‑based applications, and Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience in hospitality, ski resorts, or related fields is preferred; RTP experience is desirable.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and stay calm during busy periods.
• Physical ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, stand for long periods, and lift items up to 50 lb.
