Restoration Assistant Project Manager

About the role

Join Target Solutions, a Cotton Holdings subsidiary, as an Assistant Project Manager supporting restoration and reconstruction projects from loss assessment through completion. You will work closely with project managers, field teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure safety, quality and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in overseeing restoration projects from initial loss to completion.
• Coordinate mitigation and reconstruction activities, including subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Track project schedules, budgets, job costs, and change orders.
• Maintain project documentation such as daily reports, work authorizations, contracts, photos, and files.
• Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, consultants, and internal teams regarding project status.
• Support estimating, scope development, and insurance documentation.
• Arrange permits, inspections, and close‑out requirements.
• Participate in emergency response and catastrophe‑related projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in restoration, construction, mitigation or project coordination.
• Knowledge of water, fire, mold and storm restoration processes.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors and field personnel.
• Ability to read and interpret scopes of work, estimates and project documentation.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Required skills

• Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Restoration software such as Xactimate, DASH or Encircle.
• Proficiency in reading scopes, estimates and project documentation.
