Remote Healthcare Administration Instructor

About the role

This fully remote, live‑online position involves teaching healthcare administration courses in an 11‑week quarter format. Classes run synchronously between 6 PM and 10 PM EST, and instructors lead real‑time discussions, case studies, and capstone projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging live lectures and facilitate case‑based discussions for 6‑10 PM EST sessions.
• Grade assignments and provide timely, substantive feedback to students.
• Supervise capstone projects and applied real‑world healthcare initiatives.
• Integrate digital tools and AI‑powered educational technologies into coursework.
• Maintain academic integrity and collaborate with program leadership on curriculum evolution.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Health Informatics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of higher‑education teaching experience (online or in‑person).
• At least 3 years of professional experience in hospitals, health systems, payer organizations, or medical practice operations.
• Strong communication and classroom facilitation skills, with a commitment to equity and diverse learners.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and video‑conferencing platforms.
• Experience using AI‑driven educational tools.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of revenue‑cycle management and billing software.
