About the role

The Rehabilitation Coordinator will supervise and guide staff, provide technical assistance and training within a health‑care specialty, and plan, direct, and implement specialty programs while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide subordinate staff work assignments.
• Provide technical assistance and training within a health‑care specialty.
• Plan, direct, and implement specialty rehabilitation programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of relevant experience, including two years in a managerial or supervisory role or equivalent position.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, or a closely related field.
• Experience providing or coordinating rehabilitation, psychosocial rehabilitation, therapeutic activity, behavioral health, or recovery‑oriented services.
• Experience leading staff, directing daily departmental operations, and managing program budgets.
• Three or more years of progressively responsible experience in rehabilitation, behavioral health, therapeutic recreation, or related human services.
• Previous experience coordinating programs, leading staff, or serving in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong preference for experience in an inpatient psychiatric, forensic, or other structured health‑care setting.
• Ability to ensure program compliance with state and federal regulations.
