About the role
This position leads patient care in the Trauma PICU on the night shift, applying the nursing process and adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. The RN delegates, directs, and assists team members while ensuring quality outcomes and cultural sensitivity.
Key responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Assess learning needs of patients and families and provide appropriate education.
- Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources effectively.
- Use data and knowledge to drive improvements and achieve optimal outcomes.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
