Registered Nurse Supervisor – Charge Nurse (Decatur, GA)

About the role

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor (Charge Nurse) for its Skilled Nursing Facility in Decatur. You will lead a nursing team delivering skilled care to individuals with profound developmental disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide nursing staff on assigned shifts.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for the unit.
• Develop and maintain accurate patient care plans and medical records.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations.
• Provide case‑management services and coordinate staffing assignments.

Required profile

• Current Georgia RN license.
• Associate degree in Nursing (minimum) with at least four years of nursing experience.
• Two years of supervisory, team‑lead, or managerial experience, or one year at RN 3 level.
• Experience in long‑term/geriatric care and with patients requiring G/J tubes, tracheostomies, or seizure disorder management preferred.
