About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) for Stem Cell Transplant (F7) provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing stem cell transplantation at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This position supports a multidisciplinary transplant team and ensures high‑quality patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to stem cell transplant patients throughout pre‑, peri‑, and post‑transplant phases.
- Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and patient responses to therapy.
- Coordinate care plans with physicians, pharmacists, and allied health professionals.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
- Educate patients and families on transplant procedures, medication regimens, and self‑care.
Required profile
- Current employee of the University of Arkansas System or eligible external candidate.
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Arkansas.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Experience in oncology or transplant nursing preferred.
