Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift – Med/Surg (0.9 FTE)

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Med/Surg unit at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital on the 3rd (night) shift. The position is 0.9 FTE, working 36 hours per week, providing care to medical, surgical and orthopedic patients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg and Orthopedic units during night hours.
• Monitor patients using telemetry and manage continuous medication infusions.
• Perform wound care, and manage tubes, drains, and other medical devices.
• Supervise and delegate nursing tasks to CNA’s and unit clerks as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including the manager, clinical nurse specialist, and nurse educator.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current Wisconsin RN license or ability to obtain at time of hire.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently during night shift.
