Registered Nurse – PACU with Sign-On Bonus

About the role

The Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center is seeking full‑time Registered Nurses to care for patients emerging from surgery. This position offers a generous sign‑on bonus and a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia, manage pain, and intervene in emergencies.
• Administer prescribed medications and track side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency limits.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in coordination with the healthcare team.
• Participate in code team activities, CPR, and other life‑saving interventions.

Required profile

• Current RN licensure in New Mexico.
• Experience or interest in critical‑care and post‑operative nursing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team‑oriented setting.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
