Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Clinic

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Rodney Parham Orthopedic Clinic in Little Rock. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides direct nursing care to orthopedic patients and supports a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and education to patients undergoing orthopedic treatment.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure seamless clinical workflow.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the clinic’s health‑record system and adhere to regulatory and safety standards.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted RN license in Arkansas.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willingness to work day‑shift hours in an onsite clinical setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
