About the role

This role leads patient care in the Nursery using the nursing process, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code, and Scope & Standards of Practice. The RN delegates, directs, and assists team members while ensuring quality outcomes and cultural sensitivity.

Key responsibilities

  • Uses the nursing process to deliver patient care.
  • Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for patients and families.
  • Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources.
  • Evaluates data to promote change and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Adapts behavior to respect patient privacy and cultural diversity.

Required profile

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support certification.
  • No prior work experience required.
  • Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
