About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse (Level 1) to join the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. This entry‑level position provides direct nursing care to a diverse client population under supervision, supporting health assessment, care planning, and case management.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client health problems and needs under supervision.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized nursing care plans.
• Provide nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Advise clients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and case management as needed.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse (or multistate license).
