About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide patient‑centered care on the Labor & Delivery unit during night hours. The role requires using the nursing process, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting the unit’s strategic goals while respecting cultural and religious diversity.

Key responsibilities

Apply the nursing process to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care.
Assess learning needs of patients and families and implement appropriate teaching strategies.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members, serving as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
Utilize data and evidence‑based practice to promote optimal outcomes and drive change.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
No prior work experience required; entry‑level candidates are welcome.
