About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Family Medical Center team. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides direct patient care in a collaborative, academic health‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Family Medical Center.
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
• Provide patient education and support for self‑management of health conditions.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted RN license in Arkansas.
• Graduates of an accredited nursing program.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
