Registered Nurse – Chemo Infusion (Full‑Time) – Jeff Hwy

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join its Cancer Center on Jeff Highway. The RN will lead patient care during chemotherapy infusion, applying the nursing process and adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, high‑quality chemotherapy infusion care.
• Assess patient learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Delegate, direct, and collaborate with licensed and ancillary staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and Ochsner’s privacy and safety policies.
• Document care accurately and use data to drive improvements in patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, fast‑paced clinical environment.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and judgment skills.
