Registered Nurse – CDU Dayshift (BHSL)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to work the day shift in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) within the BHSL department. This full‑time position provides direct patient care, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and supports the delivery of high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing services.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the CDU during day‑shift hours.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure timely interventions.
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and initiate appropriate actions.
• Participate in unit meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.

Required profile

• Current RN license valid in Arkansas.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
