About the role
The Regional Vice President (RVP) for Customer Engagement leads the Northeast Region, overseeing multiple ecosystems and driving the company’s vision to improve healthcare outcomes while reducing costs. Reporting to senior leadership, the RVP partners with Commercial, Medical, and Government Affairs to shape strategy based on field insights.
Key responsibilities
- Define and champion the long‑term strategic vision for the region and customer experience.
- Oversee regional business performance and P&L, optimizing resources for maximum impact.
- Represent the customer perspective, collect market insights, and act as escalation point for urgent issues.
- Lead cross‑functional initiatives that affect the regional or national portfolio of medicines.
- Build, motivate, coach, and develop a high‑performing team of Healthcare Executive Directors.
- Foster a customer‑centric culture through deep relationships and collaborative account planning.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
- 15+ years of cross‑functional experience in commercial life sciences (pharma or biotechnology).
- Proven track record of achieving financial, quantitative and customer‑engagement metrics across private payer, public payer and hospital systems.
- Experience developing and implementing strategic plans in complex healthcare environments, including managed care contracting.
