Regional Safety, Health & Environmental Manager

About the role

The Regional Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) Manager leads the development and execution of SHE strategies for the Nestlé Development Center. The role ensures compliance with government regulations and Nestlé policies while fostering a strong safety culture across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Create and communicate a compelling SHE vision, promoting behavioral safety based on the Nestlé Leadership Framework.
• Identify SHE priorities, develop a holistic strategy, and guide its implementation and communication.
• Maintain certification of the local S&H management system to OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.
• Provide training and coaching to managers, team leaders, and the NDC Leadership Team.
• Develop and coordinate SHE networks, succession plans, and professional development.
• Coordinate internal and external resources for exposure monitoring, health promotion, life‑cycle assessment, and training.
• Audit compliance regularly, assess performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Engage external stakeholders and participate in industry forums to benchmark practices.

Required profile

• B.S. degree in safety, environmental or related discipline (NEBOSH S&H IGC preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of SHE leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality, engineering, manufacturing systems and supply chain.

Required skills

• Knowledge of OHSAS 18001 standards.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 environmental management standards.
