Regional Manager

About the role

The Regional Manager leads the business unit for CSS’s operations and maintenance of solar facilities in the region, ensuring safe and timely completion of all service obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and provide technical expertise to 6‑10 field technicians, fostering a culture of safety and quality service.
• Oversee service obligations, emergency response coverage, work order creation, and preventative maintenance planning.
• Coordinate subcontractors, manage tools and resources, and adhere to the business unit budget.
• Support hiring, skill assessments, parts ordering, and RMA processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in utility solar PV and 3 years in service or project‑oriented management.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lb, work in extreme weather, and handle electrical hazards.
• Strong verbal and written communication, team‑oriented attitude, and commitment to safety.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of OSHA 1910.269 and NFPA 70E standards.
• Proficiency reading technical specifications, site plans, and electrical schematics.
• Technical expertise in solar O&M best practices, tools, and preventive maintenance.
