Recruiter – Talent Acquisition for High‑Growth Tech

About the role

Starbridge is looking for a proactive Recruiter to join its New York office and help scale the company by attracting the top 1% of talent. Reporting to the Head of Recruiting, you will work in a fast‑moving, AI‑driven environment that treats talent acquisition like a go‑to‑market function.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage the company’s AI stack to automate sourcing, interview preparation, note‑taking and pipeline reporting.
• Develop a written point of view for each search, identifying target companies and candidates that match the “top 1%” profile.
• Conduct résumé reviews, prescreens, and technical or competency‑based assessments to keep hiring decisions moving.
• Own the offer process, negotiate terms and ensure a smooth closing experience for candidates.
• Provide hiring managers with market data, flag mis‑scoped searches, and advise on compensation bands.
• Maintain a rapid, candidate‑centric process that delivers feedback within days and encourages referrals.

Required profile

• 5+ years of recruiting experience in high‑growth or early‑stage technology companies.
• Proven ability to independently source, screen, progress and close technical candidates.
• Strong written and verbal communication, high attention to detail and an ownership mindset.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity, moving quickly and biasing toward action.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience using large language models (LLMs) for research, outreach and funnel analysis.
• Familiarity with modern recruiting platforms such as Ashby, Greenhouse, Gem and Juicebox.
