Reconciliation Analyst I

About the role

The State of Georgia’s Department of Community Affairs is seeking a Reconciliation Analyst I to support investor reporting and financial reconciliation activities. Working under the Investor Reporting Servicing Manager, you will help ensure accurate financial records for State Home Mortgage and contribute to the agency’s mission of building strong, vibrant communities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations and clearing account research.
• Verify remittances, process payments, and manage stop‑payment requests.
• Support portfolio management, loan adjustments, and disbursement maintenance.
• Track exceptions, respond to general research requests, and analyze servicing revenue.
• Report escrow advance recoveries and retain financial records for audit purposes.

Required profile

• Strong organizational habits and attention to detail.
• Sound judgment in financial processes and ability to understand functional interconnections.
• Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
