Rec Station Assistant Director – Before/After School Program

About the role

The Elmhurst Park District is seeking a part-time Rec Station Assistant Director to support its Before & After School Program. You will work closely with the Site Director to deliver engaging recreational activities for school-age children before and after school.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Site Director in planning, coordinating and implementing a high-quality Rec Station program.
• Create and lead activities in arts and crafts, drama, sports, games, outdoor recreation, field trips, special events, socialization and quiet time.
• Maintain daily communication with parents through established systems.
• Develop and sustain positive relationships with School District staff at the program site.
• Assume Site Director duties when required.
• Help with set-up and takedown of equipment and materials.
