Reagent Manufacturing Technician

About the role

Countable Labs is seeking a Reagent Manufacturing Technician to lead daily production of reagents and kits for diagnostics and research. You will work in a laboratory environment, handling formulation, filling, packaging, and quality control of PCR and NGS reagents.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately measure, weigh, mix, filter, and aliquot chemical and biological solutions following SOPs.
• Operate automated and semi‑automated filling lines, labelers, and other molecular biology equipment.
• Perform visual inspections, pH and concentration checks, and support root‑cause investigations for production deviations.
• Complete batch records and Device History Records ensuring 100% compliance with cGMP, GDP, and ISO standards.
• Track raw materials in ERP, manage cold‑chain storage, and maintain a sterile laboratory workspace.

Required profile

• 1–3+ years experience in a GMP/ISO‑regulated manufacturing environment, preferably with PCR or NGS reagents.
• B.S. in Biology, Chemistry, Biotech or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lb, stand for long periods, and work under flow‑hood and fume‑hood conditions.

Required skills

• Aseptic technique and high‑dexterity pipetting.
• Experience with GMP, ISO, ERP systems, and batch documentation (DHR).
• Familiarity with flow‑hood, fume‑hood, and typical molecular biology lab equipment.
• Knowledge of PCR, NGS, and DNA quantitation techniques.
