Reading Room Assistant – Imaging Services

About the role

The Reading Room Assistant provides essential support to the Imaging Services department, ensuring that the reading room operates efficiently for radiology staff and clinicians. This onsite position involves handling patient imaging records, preparing studies for review, and maintaining a clean, organized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, log, and distribute imaging studies to appropriate radiologists.
• Maintain patient confidentiality while handling electronic and paper records.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment and software.
• Ensure the reading room is stocked with necessary supplies and kept tidy.
• Coordinate with technologists and clinicians to resolve workflow issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in health sciences is a plus.
• Ability to work day shifts in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
