R&D Test Engineer – Ultrasound

About the role

Help drive the development of next‑generation ultrasound technology by creating innovative test solutions and validating the hardware and software that power life‑changing healthcare products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test software, scripts, and methodologies on custom test equipment for prototype ultrasound transducers.
• Own the test development process from concept through implementation, creating innovative validation approaches for emerging technologies.
• Investigate performance issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and collaborate across disciplines to troubleshoot hardware and software validation problems.
• Lead the transfer of test methods, protocols, and procedures from R&D into manufacturing, ensuring test readiness and knowledge sharing.
• Write and execute verification and validation protocols and reports while continuously improving test processes, product quality, reliability, and manufacturing effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent (Master’s preferred).
• 6+ years of experience in test engineering, electrical/electronics engineering, hardware validation, or a related technical field.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, technical writing, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to meet the minimum physical, cognitive and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• C, C++, and C# programming.
• Developing test software for hardware validation.

What we offer

• Base salary range $115,000‑$182,000 per year.
