Rapid Response Respiratory Therapist – Full Time – Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

Provide respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support to in‑patients and out‑patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric. Deliver oxygen therapy, artificial ventilation, draw and analyze arterial blood gases, and assist with airway changes in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced therapeutic procedures according to established policies.
• Review, document, and communicate clinical information for each patient.
• Educate patients and co‑workers on procedures and treatment plans.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis and EKGs.
• Adapt communication and care approach to diverse patient populations while respecting privacy.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current state Respiratory Therapist license and NBRCT certification.
• Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• No prior work experience required; must meet physical demands and flexible schedule.

Required skills

• Operation of ventilators and respiratory therapy equipment.
• Arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Proficiency with Windows‑based respiratory therapy software and data entry.
