Radiologist Technologist – Kings Hwy

About the role

This position assesses patients and safely performs routine radiographic procedures in accordance with prescribed safety procedures and protocols. The technologist also serves as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students.

Key responsibilities

• Verify physician orders and ensure correct procedure selection.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, including placement of tubes, IVs, and administration of contrast.
• Review patient images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Perform quality control procedures and address regulatory compliance.
• Assist with departmental operations such as inventory, staff scheduling, and equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registration (or eligibility) within 90 days of hire and a current state license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call availability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with radiology information systems (RIS) and related software.
• Skilled in operating imaging equipment and performing image quality assessments.
