Radiation Therapist

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join its Clinical Support team. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides direct patient care by delivering radiation treatments in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy to patients following physician orders.
• Operate and maintain radiation equipment safely and accurately.
• Document treatment parameters and patient responses in the electronic health record.
• Ensure compliance with all radiation safety regulations and quality‑assurance protocols.
• Coordinate with physicians, physicists, and nursing staff to optimize patient care.

Required profile

• Current University of Arkansas System employee (including student employees or graduate assistants).
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to work the designated day shift.
• No sponsorship required.
