Radiation Oncology Therapist – Per Diem

About the role

The Cancer Center is seeking a Per Diem Radiation Oncology Therapist to deliver high‑quality radiation treatments. Reporting to the Chief Radiation Therapist, you will manage treatment delivery, verification, simulation, and imaging for advanced techniques such as SRS and SBRT while ensuring compliance with safety and billing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver treatment and manage IMRT process flow.
• Perform verification and setup simulation processes.
• Execute clinical treatment and imaging workflows for SRS and SBRT.
• Coordinate dosimetry planning and ensure accurate billing information.
• Maintain departmental policies, radiation safety compliance, and ACR practice parameters.
• Fulfill all duties of a licensed radiation therapist.

Required profile

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program approved by ARRT, JCERT, or ACR.
• Current Arizona Medical Radiologic Technologist licensure.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
