Quality Manager – Electronics

About the role

3M is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the electronics product line. You will partner with global teams to shape quality strategy, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance across the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define medium‑ to long‑term quality strategy and operating plans for complex electronics markets.
• Interpret industry trends and customer requirements to set guidelines for quality assurance, product quality control, incoming quality control, and customer issue management.
• Initiate and approve improvement projects that enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
• Develop and manage the department budget, allocate resources, and set priorities.
• Provide direct supervision, performance management, coaching, and training for the quality team.
• Resolve complex problems using analytical skills and cross‑functional influence.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a quality function within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable quality plans.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
