Quality Engineer – Accuracy Control

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Engineer to lead accuracy control for autonomous surface vessels. You will ensure dimensional precision across hull fabrication, structural integration, and vessel assembly using advanced metrology tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dimensional control procedures for shipyard fabrication, assembly, and testing.
• Perform high‑accuracy inspections and alignment verification using laser trackers, total stations, and digital levels.
• Establish vessel coordinate systems, reference datums, and control networks.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce rework and enhance fit‑up efficiency.
• Support harbor acceptance testing and sea‑trial activities by verifying structural and system alignment.
• Document inspection data, measurement reports, and non‑conformances; prepare quality performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, naval standards, ISO 9001, and internal quality procedures.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented professional with experience in shipyard or industrial dimensional control.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams.
• Strong analytical skills for deviation analysis and corrective‑action planning.
