About the role
The Quality Control Technician will interpret specifications, determine appropriate testing and inspection procedures, and record results. The role requires performing dimensional checks, visual verifications, and documenting non‑conformances while working on‑site in a manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform inspections on materials, products, assemblies and sub‑assemblies, reading drawings, specifications and using dial indicators, digital gauges and functional gages.
- Document and track non‑conformance reports, maintain inspection plans, and liaise with suppliers to ensure product quality.
- Validate dimensional accuracy and visual verification of fabricated and machined parts, and conduct various inspections such as FAT, SIT, FAI, in‑process and final inspections.
Required profile
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quality control or a related field, with knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, follow procedures, and communicate effectively with engineers and production staff.
Required skills
- Advanced measurement techniques using dial indicators, digital gauges and functional gages.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of Gage Calibration, Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and basic Statistical Process Control.
