Quality Control Inspection Technician – Structures (Weekend)

About the role

Join BETA Technologies as a Quality Control Inspection Technician, working weekends to ensure aerospace components meet strict design and safety standards. You will perform dimensional inspections, document findings, and help maintain a high‑quality manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality control inspections and testing according to work instructions in an aerospace manufacturing setting.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) in compliance with AS9102.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering documents to develop inspection work instructions.
• Enter inspection results into the ERP system and generate inspection reports.
• Assign traceability, quarantine, or scrap status to incoming raw materials and components.
• Maintain and calibrate precision measuring equipment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing operations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Strong attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills.
• Available to work Friday‑Sunday, 6 am‑6 pm.

Required skills

• Use of precision dimensional inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers and gage blocks.
• Working knowledge of GD&T.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and web‑based software.
• Experience entering data into an ERP system.
