Quality Claims Coordinator

About the role

As a Quality Claims Coordinator at Alfa Laval’s Americas Distribution Center, you will investigate root causes, implement corrective actions, and resolve customer and supplier claims. This onsite role in Indianapolis supports the organization’s growth by ensuring timely and effective claim handling.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate investigations of claims, assign tasks to appropriate units, and follow up to ensure timely completion.
• Issue call tags, Return Material Authorizations (RMA), and execute stock adjustments for returned goods.
• Document actions in the ACT claim system, close completed claims, and reassign when necessary.
• Identify claim trends, lead Problem Resolution Projects, and provide monthly status reports and KPI measurements.
• Provide training on Alfa Laval claims processes to sales and service teams and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and SharePoint.
• Strong critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
• Leadership, communication skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
