Quality Analyst – Relief (Part‑Time)

About the role

The Quality Assurance Relief Technician works in the Fort Collins brewery supporting lab analysis and quality control for both brewing and packaging operations. This fast‑paced, high‑speed manufacturing environment offers cross‑training opportunities to expand technical expertise while ensuring the iconic products meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Run routine analytical analyses on beer samples (pH, density, alcohol, sodium, iron).
• Test packaged beer for oxygen, carbon dioxide, fill level, and other quality parameters.
• Perform pasteurizer testing to verify proper pasteurization.
• Inspect package integrity and specifications.
• Coordinate quality analyses, ensure accurate results and timely reporting.
• Conduct studies and statistical analyses to improve brewery quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, Engineering, Fermentation Science or a related field.
• Ability to operate and maintain laboratory instruments and follow standard lab procedures.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Flexibility to work weekend and holiday shifts, including midnight, day and afternoon shifts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Understanding of brewing and packaging processes, HACCP and GMP is a plus.
