About the role

The Infosys Engineering unit is seeking a QA Engineer to join its San Jose team. You will work within a technology‑consultant role, contributing to product‑centric value delivery through automated and mobile testing. The position focuses on ensuring software quality while supporting rapid, data‑first engineering processes.

Key responsibilities

• Document assigned parts of business requirements and support the elicitation process.
• Facilitate design discussions, capture decisions, and guide the technical team.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain new features while preserving system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, manage code repositories, and implement test strategies.
• Analyze test results, coordinate bug fixes, and uphold software quality standards.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks for smooth transitions.
• Participate in production issue resolution and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.
