Python/AWS Architect – Senior Technology Architect

About the role

Infosys is seeking a senior‑level Python/AWS Architect to join its SURE (Services, Utilities, Resources, Energy) unit in Houston. The role focuses on designing and delivering scalable, reliable cloud solutions that enable digital transformation for clients in the services and energy sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document functional and non‑functional business requirements through workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Design and validate solution architectures that are scalable, maintainable and aligned with Infosys frameworks.
• Select appropriate technologies, tools and platforms to meet business needs.
• Define integration strategies across heterogeneous systems to ensure seamless data flow.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues during build, deployment and support phases, promoting reusable assets.
• Provide architectural guidance to development teams and foster collaboration with clients.
• Identify risks, monitor system performance and recommend optimization initiatives.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for project artifacts and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a technology architect or senior engineer, preferably in cloud‑native environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience working on large‑scale digital transformation projects in the services or energy domains.

Required skills
