About the role
StoryGold is building cutting‑edge AI that automatically generates complex CAD designs from simple inputs. As a Python Developer focused on CAD automation, you will create the high‑quality data that powers these models, translating 2D images and schematics into programmatic 3D models using the CadQuery library. This position is full‑time and remote, supporting a venture‑backed startup based in San Francisco.
Key responsibilities
- Write Python code with the CadQuery library to generate precise, parametric 3D models.
- Create, curate, and maintain a dataset used for training the AI models.
- Collaborate directly with the machine‑learning research team and CAD designers to refine data requirements and improve model performance.
- Develop scripts and tools that automate and streamline the data‑creation workflow.
Required profile
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Excellent communication abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
