Purchasing & Supply Chain Specialist – Remote

About the role

Fame Marketing and Trading LLC is seeking a remote Purchasing & Supply Chain Specialist to own end‑to‑end order management for its e‑commerce brands. You will act as the bridge between overseas manufacturers and internal product development, ensuring timely production, accurate costing, and smooth logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily communication with manufacturers and suppliers in China, Türkiye and other regions.
• Source and qualify new suppliers using platforms such as Alibaba, 1688, Global Sources, Made‑in‑China, trade fairs and direct outreach.
• Build production and order plans based on sales velocity and inventory levels, forecasting seasonal demand.
• Track and report each order stage from proforma invoice to production start, lead‑time follow‑up and loading approval.
• Analyze FOB and DDP costs, monitor freight and duty items, and assess price‑change impacts.
• Organize sea and air freight, manage shipping documentation and ensure on‑time delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply‑chain management.
• Proven ability to manage a portfolio of orders and meet KPIs such as on‑time production, landed cost and order accuracy.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Experience with supplier sourcing platforms (Alibaba, 1688, Global Sources, Made‑in‑China).
• Cost analysis skills, including FOB and DDP calculations.
• Familiarity with sea and air freight logistics.
