Public Safety / Security Officer

About the role

The Public Safety/Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe campus environment at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. This position supports the university community by monitoring facilities, responding to incidents, and enforcing university policies.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol campus grounds, buildings, and parking areas to deter and detect security concerns.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and calls for service.

• Current University of Arkansas System employee, including student employees or graduate assistants.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to obtain a background check.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
