Public Finance Banker

About the role

R. Seelaus is seeking an experienced Public Finance Banker to join our team in Chatham, NJ. You will work directly with municipal bond issuers, guiding them through every stage of a transaction from initial engagement to post‑transaction management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute municipal bond transactions for institutional clients.
• Maintain and expand relationships with municipal issuers and investors.
• Leverage the firm’s 40‑year platform and investor base to build a strong client franchise.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless transaction execution and client service.

Required profile

• 5+ years of proven experience in fixed‑income sales, especially with real‑money institutional investors.
• Established network of relationships within the municipal finance community.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.
