Provider Contracting Specialist

About the role

The Provider Contracting Specialist is the primary resource for contracting and negotiating with dental, vision, and hearing providers to expand the network. Working closely with Provider Recruiters, this role turns engaged prospects into contracted participants through consultative support and relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations, review reimbursement arrangements, and finalize participation agreements.
• Serve as the main point of contact for providers, building relationships and addressing concerns throughout the contracting and onboarding process.
• Collaborate with Provider Recruiters to advance warm leads and provide market feedback.
• Coordinate enrollment activities, track progress in CRM systems, and support network adequacy goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare contracting, provider relations, or network development.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, goal‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Experience negotiating contracts, rates, or business agreements.
• Knowledge of provider reimbursement methodologies and healthcare contracting principles.
