Propulsion Drawing Checker / CAD Modeler

About the role

You will be involved in the making of engineering drawings from 3D solid models, drawing checking and working through workflow issues to obtain release. You will be responsible for working with designs from concepts to flight‑maturity hardware that involve propulsion hardware from piece parts to engine assemblies and/or Propellant & Pressure Management (PPMS) systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, analysis, manufacturing, and testing of propulsion piece parts and assemblies throughout the product lifecycle.
• Generate detailed CAD models and engineering drawings of components and complete engine systems based on 3D solid models.
• Collaborate with test and manufacturing teams to ensure drawings meet functional and production requirements.
• Establish and enforce standards for drawing verification and release processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience creating and checking rocket propulsion drawings, from individual parts to full engine assemblies.
• At least 10 years of hands‑on CAD experience, especially with large, complex assemblies.
• Proficiency with major CAD platforms such as TC/NX, SolidWorks, and CATIA.
• Strong communication abilities to work effectively in a highly collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
