Property Accountant

About the role

Sentral is seeking a Property Accountant to join its fast‑growing residential hospitality network. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting expertise with a customer‑service mindset, thriving in a dynamic startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements for multiple properties, including general ledger close, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and invoice processing.
• Support property managers by answering month‑end financial queries and training community team members on accounting systems.
• Handle AP/AR hospitality reconciliations, reservations, check‑in/check‑out cash, and assist with quarterly/annual external audits.
• Record monthly adjusting and accrual entries, perform variance analysis per GAAP, and contribute to the implementation of accounting policies.

Required profile

• Accounting or finance degree (CPA pursuit preferred).
• 2+ years of experience on a real‑estate accounting team.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and optimize accounting processes.
• Strong operational and customer‑service skills with high initiative.
