Project Manager, Store Planning & Construction

About the role

Coach, a global fashion house within the Tapestry portfolio, is seeking a Project Manager to lead store planning and construction projects from kickoff through opening and turnover. You will ensure each project aligns with brand standards, operational needs, budgets, and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Own assigned projects from AOR kickoff to store opening, turnover, and closeout.
• Conduct landlord kickoff meetings to gather site conditions, fit‑out requirements, local codes, and approval timelines.
• Review and redline design and construction drawings before landlord and permit submissions.
• Partner with Store Design, Purchasing, and Construction Finance throughout design, bidding, construction, and closeout phases.
• Lead weekly Owner‑Architect‑Contractor meetings, monitor schedule performance, track RFIs and change orders, and resolve issues.
• Conduct site visits at critical milestones, evaluate constructability, and manage risks that could impact schedule or budget.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing retail construction or store fit‑out projects.
• Strong understanding of landlord negotiations, permitting processes, and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks.
