Project Manager – Rail & Transit

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead its Rail and Transit team on major West Region projects, overseeing multi‑discipline design teams and delivering complex rail infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead integrated design teams and coordinate with builders and developers.
• Develop and oversee Project Execution, Health and Safety, and QA/QC plans.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and financial goals.
• Ensure quality control of design work and resolve engineering disputes.
• Engage with transit agencies, municipalities, utilities, and other stakeholders.
• Negotiate scope changes with clients and subcontractors and represent the company in meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical/business field.
• Minimum 10 years of senior technical experience in design or construction engineering.
• Thorough knowledge of rail and transit industry practices and regulations.
• Experience as a Design Lead on major transportation infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead projects from concept through final design with accurate costing and scheduling.
