Project Manager - NPD & Product Launch (CPG/FMCG)

About the position

Join Perfetti Van Melle, a global leader in the confectionery and gum industry, as a passionate and driven Project Manager. You will play a pivotal role in driving innovation by overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept to successful market launch and post-launch evaluation.

Main Missions

• Lead New Product Development (NPD) teams and special projects, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
• Act as the primary point of contact between Business, R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercialization functions.
• Define project scope, timelines, and milestones in close partnership with Marketing, Sales, and R&D.
• Develop and monitor detailed project schedules using MS Project to ensure timely execution.
• Provide regular reporting on project status, risks, KPIs, and facilitate executive decision-making.
• Promote and enforce NPD processes, tools, and Stage-Gate documentation compliance.
• Conduct post-launch audits to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Profile sought

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Business Administration or a related field.
• 3 to 4 years of proven experience in project management within the CPG or FMCG sector.
• Strong ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Analytical mindset with a high level of organizational discipline.
• PMP certification is highly preferred.

Required Skills

• Expertise in NPD processes and Stage-Gate methodologies.
• Proficiency in MS Project, MS 365 (Excel, etc.), and SAP.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methods and process improvement.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
