Project Manager - Medical Communications (Commercial)

About the role

The Lockwood Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead medical communications projects for commercial clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device sectors. This remote position oversees the full project lifecycle, from concept through delivery, ensuring scientific accuracy and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and act as the primary liaison with internal departments, clients, and faculty.
• Develop, monitor, and reconcile project budgets; manage external suppliers and resources.
• Schedule and facilitate start‑up, interim, and final meetings, maintaining timelines and delivering regular updates.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and faculty, ensuring expectations are met at every stage.
• Contribute to new business development activities within the account team.

• Exceptional communicator with proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Highly organized, able to multitask, prioritize, and motivate others.
• Strong financial management abilities and attention to detail.
